Orders may be turned in at anytime before the official turn in date if you are completely done selling.

When turning in your orders, please tally up your totals and put them at the bottom of your order form(s). If you have more than one sheet, please make sure that they are stapled together when turning them in so no orders are lost! If you need extra order forms feel free to print extras.

Popcorn Sales

Newspaper Collection

Save your newspapers. We have a contact with a local company that uses the newspaper as packing material for their shipments.

Mr. Oesterreich makes periodic trips to deliver the newspapers the Troop has collected. Information will be relayed to everyone during Troop meetings when and where newspapers are to be gathered for delivery.

Christmas Tree Lot
Troop 501 coordinates with local Troop 450 to run a Christmas Tree Lot during the holiday season. The tree lot is normally set up the weekend before Thanksgiving. Every scout is expected to participate in the tree lot setup and tear down.

A schedule to work the tree lot will be created each year along with the coordinating troop. Times will be filled on a first come basis for scouts and parents. One parent is necessary for each time block.

There has been some concern over the past years as to when or if we should close down the tree lot due to severe weather. For everyone's safety we have implemented a winter weather policy in regards to the tree lot: Tree Lot Weather Policy - If the weather is 30 degrees below zero windchill then the tree lot WILL BE CLOSED. You do not need to contact anyone when this happens. If the temperature has reached 20 degrees below windchill you will be aksed to open the tree lot and show up for tree lot duties. After one hour if you have not sold a tree then you may close the tree lot.
