Service Projects The troop is very proud of the above Eagle Scouts
who accepted the challenge to become leaders not only in the unit, but
in the community. Included in that pride is a sense of excellence in the
serivce projects these Scouts designed and completed for the rank of Eagle
Scout. Among these projects are:
Child identification/DNA project
Collect children's clothing for Russian children's
home
Build benches for local nature center
Build and plant several raised flower beds for Alzheimer
patients
Build benches for the Alzheimer patients
Collect mens winter coats and clothing
Educate community and label sewers for watershed
district on pollution and environmental awareness
Create and install directional sign posts for local
nature center
Landscape clearing, cleanup and removal for local
church
Build entryway benches for charter partner
Collect school supplies and ship to overseas school
Landscape and planting shrubbery for newly built
church
Remove buck thorn shrubery from trail area at local
nature center
Create computer lab setting and teach computer skills
to local apartment building residents
Cut and trim shrubery on city boulevards
Plan and build picnic tables and fire ring for church
youth organization
